Events Coming Up

The Season has begun! It’s time to get back outdoors and meet new people so join us on an eco adventure. Our Members have some great and interesting events coming up including a really fun outdoor coastal food forage with a cook up where you will be dining as the druids did along the gorgeous Copper Coast in Waterford. Marie puts so much effort and preparation into these events and the reaction she gets is always awesome! Check out the event here and see what others have said >>

Stayover Forage and Walk

We also have some great May Breaks in Leitrim on offer but hurry as only a few dates remain! Plus a really chilled out slow adventure offer in September too. Ideal for those who really want to get away from the stresses of everyday life and be transported to peace and nature… Check it out here >>

Full Moon Walks Wicklow

Finally for now, we also have a number of Full Moon Walks on both the East and West Coast coming up so gather a few buddies, some ‘tae’ and get walking!

Pioneer Bushcraft Dublin

Pioneer Bushcraft Ireland

Pioneer Bushcraft is all about teaching informative, relevant and extremely practical courses. The courses are short to facilitate people who do not have the time or inclination to spend a lot of money on longer duration bushcraft or nature courses – but who still want a high quality outdoor experience.
Sean Fagan offers a variety of regular workshops including:

  • Urban Botany of Dublin City
  • Bull Island Birdwatching Tour
  • Coastal Foraging & Rocky Shore Ecology – Balbriggan
  • Native Woodland Masterclass – Enniskerry
  • Primitive & Modern Fire Skills Workshop – Enniskerry
  • Basic Map & Compass Navigation Skills – Bray

There are many interpretations of Bushcraft. So many, it’s impossible to give a definitive answer as to what Bushcraft is – partly because Bushcraft is very personal to the individual. For me, Bushcraft is a way of getting closer to nature…
Contact – meaningful contact, with nature allows empathy and sensitivity towards nature to flourish where it may have been absent – and Bushcraft is one of the best ways I know to facilitate a passion for the great outdoors.
