Secret Valley Wildlife Park Need Your Help!

Last week I met Ann O’Connor of Secret Valley Wildlife Park in Wexford and she shared with me the plight of the park after Covid:

Secret Valley Wildlife Park is home to 35 species of animals ranging from llamas and alpacas to meerkats and otters. With over 100 animals to feed and care for daily and essential enclosure maintenance and repairs to be made we urgently need your support to ensure that we are still here once this pandemic has passed.

Over the past 14 years Secret Valley Wildlife Park has endeavoured to educate our visitors and followers into plight of wild animals and the efforts we can make to conserve the environment and protect animals in the wild.

We also work with an exotic animal rescue organisation based in Europe to provide a permanent home for exploited and neglected exotic animals.
We currently have four species of rescued primates, including capuchin monkeys and cotton-top tamarins which were rescued from the pet trade. Our most recent additions are four Rhesus Macaques which were saved from a Dutch Laboratory. Having endured horrible suffering while being used for neurological research, Bassie, Adriaan, Puyi and Tchang, can now live out the rest of their lives in peace at Secret Valley Wildlife Park.

Please help us to continue providing a home for these special animals by donating what you can via our online funding campaign
